Novolyte's dedicated R&D team works in a new 6,500 sq ft lab, with a focus on improving the performance of lithium batteries, such as cycle life, operating temperature range, or safety. This team provides research and development for global applications and technical service support for our customers in North America and Europe. Novolyte manufactures electrolytes for research and for contract formulations on a bench scale. Our experience and expertise in battery and ultracapacitor electrolytes and Lithium-based salts is greatly respected in the battery manufacturing community.

Baton Rouge, LA, Facility
Novolyte's primary R&D activities for phosphine products and glymes and other solvents are conducted in the lab at the Baton Rouge, LA, facility, with support from additional technical team members in Cleveland.

For custom manufacturing, Novolyte combines a large existing available equipment base with strong process development capability beginning at the bench scale through semi works scale.
