In 2004, Novolyte built a new electrolyte manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China, to better serve Asia through improved logistics, technical innovation, and service. The plant is located approximately one hour from Shanghai in the High Technology Suzhou Industrial Park. Production of Purolyte® electrolytes began in January 2005.
The key equipment critical to the peak operational performance of our Suzhou plant was designed in the U.S. and all plant operations strictly follow the same quality and safety procedures as our Baton Rouge facility. SGS is Novolyte's ISO 9001:2000 registrar at the Suzhou facility; ISO/TS16949 certification is expected in the near future.
