As the recognized leader in North America and Europe, Novolyte has been serving the lithium battery industry for 30 years with electrolytes produced at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana, facility. Novolyte manufactures proprietary and custom formulated electrolytes that meet a variety of customer specifications under confidentiality agreements, shipped domestically and worldwide in dedicated stainless steel returnable vessels.
Novolyte's Baton Rouge, Louisiana plant is an ISO 9001:2008 certified chemical manufacturing facility with core values based on Safety, Responsible Care, Environmental Responsibility, Quality and Customer Satisfaction. The electrolyte production unit offers operational flexibility and the highest product quality. Multiple blending tanks of various sizes provide production efficiency in closely matching the quantities required by Novolyte's customers. State-of-the-art equipment and control systems enable Novolyte to effectively process chemicals that are sensitive to heat, air, and moisture and to meet the increasingly stringent purity requirements of battery and ultracapacitor makers. QSR is Novolyte's ISO 9001:2008 registrar at the Baton Rouge facility.
Asia
In 2004, Novolyte built a new electrolyte manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China, to better serve Asia through improved logistics, technical innovation, and service. The plant is located approximately one hour from Shanghai in the High Technology Suzhou Industrial Park. Production of Purolyte® electrolytes began in March 2005.
The key equipment critical to the peak operational performance of our Suzhou plant was designed and built in the U.S. and all plant operations strictly follow the same quality and safety procedures as our Baton Rouge facility. SGS is Novolyte's ISO 9001:2008 registrar at the Suzhou facility; ISO/TS16949 certification has been awarded by SGS, Novolyte Suzhou is the first global electrolyte producer to achieve the TS certification.
