Novolyte markets its high-purity electrolytes under the Purolyte brand to customers who consider its electrolyte solutions to be a high value, core component of a lithium battery system. We are able to provide performance electrolyte formulations as a result of our unique manufacturing and processing of solvents, lithium salts, and various functional additives. Novolyte's formulated products are delivered in returnable stainless steel pressure vessels, which helps maintain the product integrity and protect against moisture and oxygen intrusion.
Beyond manufacturing the electrolyte, Novolyte can also provide custom synthesis of performance enhancing additives. Novolyte's in-house synthesis and processing technology gives us the ability to vertically integrate manufacturing of select additives and lithium salts.

Small Scale Developmental Electrolytes
To assist customers in the development of new generation batteries, Novolyte provides made-to-order electrolytes in various quantities and containers. Novolyte can meet global needs for developmental electrolyte samples through our Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and our manufacturing operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Suzhou, China.
Purolyte® Electrolyte Formulations
Novolyte can manufacture electrolyte formulations with a variety of Lithium based salts and organic carbonates. Beyond manufacturing the electrolyte, Novolyte can also provide custom synthesis of performance enhancing additives. We have developed in-house synthesis and processing technology providing Novolyte the ability to vertically integrate into the manufacture of select additives and lithium salts.
Electrolyte formulations using one or more of the salt, solvent or additive components contained in the tables below are used to manufacture electrolyte formulations. If there is a need for a component that is not represented below, please contact Novolyte directly. In many cases we will source the desired component and purify to electrolyte grade specifications for your use and application in lithium-ion battery applications.
