Novolyte Green Solvents for High-performance Coatings

coatings

Novolyte's selection of technologies offers coatings formulators the ability to maximize performance while lowering price. Novolyte glycol diethers (glymes) have unique structures which complex strongly with pigments. Regarded as Non-VOCs for Europe and suitable for low VOC formulations in the U.S., our glymes and acetals have low odor and excellent tox profiles.

Novolyte's Glycol Diethers and Acetals:

  • Maximize appearance & % water
  • Eliminate odor and toxic solvents
  • Minimize dispersant and pigment cost
  • Provide high solvency to give stable high-water formulations

Proglyme:

  • Propylene glycol derived
  • Long used to for one- and two-part polyurethanes
  • Emulsify and improve the appearance of coatings
  • P-series with an excellent tox profile
  • High solvency and low odor

Higlyme:

  • Non-VOC – use at <0.8%
  • Powerful emulsifier
  • Superior wetting agent
