Novolyte's glymes are useful in various pharmaceutical formulations where they can serve not only as a drug carrier but also function as a stabilizer for the drug.
Glymes' high solvency can be used to dissolve active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) or their precursers prior to crystallization to control particle size. They can also be used as a co-solvent with carbon dioxide for generation of small particles for delivery by inhalation.
