2,6-Naphthalenedicarboxylic Acid (CAS: 1141-38-4)
Common Names: 2,6-NDA, HNDA
Key Diacid for the Production of High-Performance Liquid Crystal Polymers
Novolyte's Baton Rouge LA plant has been producing the highest quality HNDA without interruption for more than 10 years. HNDA is a key co-monomer for the production of liquid crystalline polymers for the HIGHEST high temperature and high performance applications. LCP's from HNDA have zero flammabity ratings. HNDA is also used to improve the oxygen and carbon dioxide barrier properties of PET. Approved for recyclable PET food and beverage container use.
